BULK BILLING AGREEMENT - VERIZON (CONSENT FORMS DUE DECMEBER 16TH

VPSWHOA SWHOA

Bulk Billing Consent Form - Due December 16, 2024

The Southern Walk HOA Board would like to update you on an important matter regarding the future of internet services in our community. After years of progress, including successfully ending the mandatory 75-year bulk billing commitment for telecommunications services with OpenBand, our homeowners now have the freedom to choose their wired internet provider.

Currently, Verizon is the sole service provider for the community, and the Bulk Billing Agreement for FIOS internet is set to expire in May 2025. Homeowners must now decide between two options:

  1. Entering into a new Bulk Billing Agreement with Verizon when the current agreement ends.

  2. Transitioning Verizon’s services to an individual retail market model.

Verizon has assured us that FIOS internet services will not be interrupted regardless of the community's decision. While pricing considerations are outlined in the attached document, we strongly encourage homeowners to research and evaluate the options carefully.

To proceed with a new Bulk Billing Agreement, the HOA’s Declaration must be amended, requiring consent from 75% of homeowners. If you support this option, please sign and return the attached consent form by December 16, 2024. Signed forms can be returned via the enclosed prepaid envelope or emailed to bbavote@swhoab.com.

If you prefer to transition to individual retail services, no action is required.

Your participation is essential to shaping the future of internet services in our community. We encourage all homeowners to stay engaged and involved in this decision-making process.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
