




SWHOA Board has resolved to dissolve the association
As many of you know, the Southern Walk HOA (SWHOA) is no longer under a bulk-billing contract with Verizon and residents have transitioned to individual retail service with Verizon.
The board of directors has decided to pursue dissolving the SWHOA as it does not have any other purpose than to provide telecom to residents, which is it no longer doing, but must collect dues to pay for management, insurance, etc. as required by law.
Dissolution will require a super-majority of member households to sign a consent form. The board plans to hire a company shortly to manage sending and collecting consents with options for both electronic signature and physical sign-and-mail-in.
Please keep an eye on your email. And make sure we have your correct email and mailing address on the FirstService Portal Profile page.

In the mean time:
1. You must continue to pay your monthly dues
2. Many people are overpaying their dues. Check your balance on the FirstService portal. It is best to setup your ClickPay to auto-pay what is owed each month, as we may lower the dues again prior to dissolution.
