The Board of Directors seeks to dissolve the SWHOA
As many of you know, the Southern Walk HOA (SWHOA) is no longer under a bulk-billing contract with Verizon and residents have transitioned to individual retail service with Verizon. The board of directors has decided to pursue dissolving the SWHOA (Official Dissolution Announcement) as it does not have any other purpose than to provide telecom to residents, which is it no longer doing, but must collect dues to pay for management, insurance, etc. as required by law.
Dissolution will be hard to do
Dissolution will require at least 80% of member households to sign a consent form, (890 of 1,112) where all owners of each property must sign the consent form for the household to count.
